Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang.

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Meh. (i'm really not expecting to read this) Still working on my audition... I may need to pick up the pace for it if i want to get it done perfect to the T.

Not much to say anyways. I do have big plans after this audition animation gets underway...I feel so drained at the moment due to school, studying for tests and stuff.

I don't think anyone is expecting a lot from me so far which is good. XD Although I do feel little left out that lots of people so far made and finished their auditions and mine's only like halfway finished. I know great art takes time. You have to take care of it with each stroke until it's finished. Just that i wish great art can be done faster xD than what i'm doing.

I'm sure though it'll be fine in the end. Just need to take patience myself. I'm also still very excited if i get in this tournament.

Heh don't worry about it. I'm redoing my reference sheets and redesigning my characters a bit so your far ahead of me. Just pace your self and you should be fine. For example, there is 3 weeks left as its been said before. I never done animation before so I don't know how long it takes but just divide it up into reasonable chunks and I'll think you'll be fine. It seems you already have the script done correct? That only leaves voice acting and animation, since I know animation takes a long time to design, leave plenty of time for that. Even if you spend 1 hour a day on the animation, at least your making progression. Now if you will excuse me for a second.....*draw erase draw, scan*.
