In other news, sorry for the lack of updates. Just been busy with some things. But what's great is that I have  a job  now with reverge labs to help animate a fighting video-game called Skullgirls which will be released for the for the Xbox360 and PS3:

So I came across this tournament call TheGamesOCT and it looks interesting. It's seems like a good one. Unfortunately though, there aren't a lot of auditions yet. So I'm spreading the news about it. Wow it's been quite a summer hasn't? It went by so fast . Of course this is what happens when spending your entire summer vacation drawing. XP


So after the tournament is over, what now? Well the plan is to finish the last round of course and .... and may be add some other things with it >w>. I won't go into detail now about it.

Looks like tomorrow on Saturday is my Birthday.... that means I'm getting older.

You know this year I've been reminiscing my childhood more than ever. It's all have been A Nostalgia trip.

I miss being a kid. My favorite times, were getting up early to watch my favorite Saturday Cartoons . And back then, there was a lot to choose from. I'm not sure what the Saturday lineup is nowadays. Though, last time I checked there's the 4kids shows on the fox channel... And those shows are sad. They've really dumbed it down and the editing is terrible. It's like they can't have major conflicts in shows anymores.

What happend to the goods show like the SATAM Sonic the hedgehog series? .urh.. this is no offense to the SonicX fans out there, but it just looks really retarded.(though that's because 4kids just ruined the show like every other.)

But don't get me wrong, I watched stupid shows back when I was little. There were shows like the Super Mario Brothers show when i was 4 to 5 years and the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers when I was 6 to 7 years.  They were stupid and corny.... but i loved them. (Though when I recently watched some of the episodes of the Super Mario Show this year, I realized so many animation and character-voice mistakes on that than I did when I was a kid.)

Also.... what happened to all the olds nickelodeon Nicktoons? Last time I checked the only lineup was like (spongebob Squarepants and three to four other shows. Back then , They had a HUGE lineup at least 15 differents shows to watch during the day.

Though I haven't been watching television anymore and rather been doing schoolwork and art. There hasn't been anything interesting to watch.. either that or i'm just getting old XD.

One more thing before I go.
I wanted to make a couple comparisons of the toys that i played that changed over the years. To be honest I like the old ones better. And for those who are fans of the recent ones, it's to no offense. As I said, I'm just in a nostalgia mood.

Ah anyways. So luckily we made the audition into ~BurningAvalon and the roster is up. We'll be facing ~JillValentine89's character, Clay.

I must say I'm nervous, but I'm quite looking forward to this match and am sure Unknown is too. Jill is a wonderful artist with amazing skills and style which looks utterly badass. I'm sure this will be a most epic round.








P.S. to the people who i owe commissions too. I'm sorry that it's taking long. I will get on it.

Okay I had to update the journal Just cause it was old. (Note to self: come up with a design for this blasted thing)

Anyways for news... well nothing much going on I don't think. I decided to get myself a cintiq in June, so that'll be great to use during the summer.

Well I'm also wondering bout for school next fall  on whether i'll be transferring in The University of a liberal art school. However there are future problems and life choices that go with it. So I need to plan carefully. In the meantime I've been trying to improve my art; to make it more professional. Still needs work, but that's what practice is for.

Animation wise I have many little shorts that i'm working on (three to be exact. Not sure when they'll be done (just doing them for fun).For big animations well, there'll be a SDL duel coming up with someone that'll take lots of time to make.  After that, I'll be doing personal projects with "Falling Star" and "Yin and Yang" (If Denny and Toni are reading this "yeah yeah i know ><. I'll get to work on it. Sorry for the wait." )

And other than that stuff, well i've been feeling sick this week . I think it has to do with the heat and dehydration. But whatever it is, it driving me nuts especially when I'm trying to study. Hope the problem goes away soon >>.

Anyways, I guess that's about it to cover.

Okay so here's the thing.

I've suppressed my art long enough. From here on, I'm going all out. The problem with the tournament was that my art has suffered.I had to limit my quality and such to get through. Problem however, that my art lacked detail along with quality. In other ways i learned a lot and what i'm capable of doing and that i can animate. So through this tournament, I've gained lots of experience. I couldn't  have asked for anything better.

Anyways i put in a list of works that I'm doing.

Just thought I update my journal.

Well I won the first round of Corrupted Core. However, i was not pleased on how my entry came out. So I better get into shape for the next match.

Finished my audition. Now all i have to do is wait and see. In the meantime i'm going to back to homework and studying. XD

Meh. (i'm really not expecting to read this) Still working on my audition... I may need to pick up the pace for it if i want to get it done perfect to the T.

Not much to say anyways. I do have big plans after this audition animation gets underway...I feel so drained at the moment due to school, studying for tests and stuff.

I don't think anyone is expecting a lot from me so far which is good. XD Although I do feel little left out that lots of people so far made and finished their auditions and mine's only like halfway finished. I know great art takes time. You have to take care of it with each stroke until it's finished. Just that i wish great art can be done faster xD than what i'm doing.

I'm sure though it'll be fine in the end. Just need to take patience myself. I'm also still very excited if i get in this tournament.
